Question Ballast Location on 92 civic lx

people with a 92-95 civic with hids....where did you guys place the ballast...just need some ideas...dont want them to put them in a spot where they get wet or anything like that...are the following locations good or is there something wrong with the location?

those pics are almost exactly what i did on mine (altho i have a 6th gen civic), just make sure that where you plug the lights into the ballast faces downwards so no moisture accumulates there, and ziptie your ballast wires to make sure they arent near any belts (mine got stripped in a belt once causin my drivers headlight to fail and a cop to pull me over for it, and then i had to rewire them).

mine flash on and are a little dim when i first turn them on, get really bright, then go down slightly in intensity after like 10 seconds of turning them on. but even when they dim down a little they are still definitely brighter than regular bulbs. if you dont have it connected via a relay i would consider it altho you can definitely do it without one. as long as everything works and the bulbs stay reliably lit you probly did it all right

the kit did come with a relay...it came with a plug and play wire harness...ill try my best to describe it...its bi xenon hid kit...theres the power wire with the fuse, that goes into a small box and at the other end comes out 4 boundles of wires...one for each bulb and then the ballast..
