im thinking of getting my car painted and i was just wondering what a basic paint job would cost. i know that it differs from place to place but can someone give me an estimate?

because my cars white but different parts are different shades and whoever painted the car before did a horrible job.

 

it all differs..it can be like $1000 to a couple grand, the best thing you can do is go around to different paint shops and get quotes, also ask people that you no whos had there car painted and what shop they used and what quality they got, word of mouth is the best resource to find good stuff, because there could be a guy in his back yyard doing a amazing paint job for cheap that you dont even no about, try some of your local forums..and make sure you ask about warrinty and if prices include door jambs,trunk, ect...
