Black VS. Clear Housing Mini-Poll :)
I have a Black '99 DX and i'm getting Angel-Eye projectors very similar to mill$civic's. He has the black housing, and i am deciding on getting either the black housing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00...8408QQtcZphoto
or the clear housing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00...1350QQtcZphoto
for my car. Would do you think would look good with a black car?

I think if you put on black rims with a polished lip along with black housing for the tail lights it would look sweet. I have a dark blue civic 04 so I went chrome housing with hte angel halo and chrome halos in the back... as for rims I should do a poll like you
And with your proj's you should DEFINETLY get HIDs and not even waste time with PIAAs or other H1s(most likely what you will have for bulb choice)... The wiring will make your bulbs blow all the time so until you do HID keep the stock bulbs in.... I spent about 250 just in bulbs before I realized I was retarded and should have done HID.
nope..this is my second summer with them (take the headlights off in the winter) and i love the bulbs in them, they are SOO bright and its a REALLY white light,no yellow at all,and buleish depending were you stand..i havent checked what kind of bulb it is tho
i have the chrome ones on my civic and i like them really well. 2 bulbs blew so i just bought a set of blue ones off ebay for 20 bucks ( 4 bulbs )...they are bright and havent had any problems out of them. the headlights just depend on what you want your car to look like. if you are gonna get black rims or dark colored ones, go with black headlights. if your gonna get silver, then get the chrome ones.
Don't buy those, the lighting is very poor and the halos will burn out prematurely. The projectors are poor quality, and are severly limited in terms of output. The halos are run by LEDs, which are not good with heat number one, but the morons who designed them built them to run off 12v. Cars typically run at 13.8 on the alternator, so it is only a matter of time before those LEDs fry.
