Default BLACKED OUT TAIL LIGHTS

I have a 2003 civic dx coupe and i really dont like how any aftermarket tail lights looks so i decided i wanna black out the tail lights...the only question is which is the best method the tint spray or the actual tint film which is the same as window tint?

I used a spray on my corner lights and tail lightscalled night shades ...I used several coats over a couple days to get itnice and thick, although I have seen somewhere that you can use tint film (If any one has done this please post because I want to know how it turned out) Also, you might be able to get it at your local autozone, jegs or auto parts place, but just letting you know I had to go to like 3 different places and even then I got their last can, I had to pay like 8 bucks for it :/

There are also a couple do-it-yourselfs over at clubcivic you might want to check out - Here are a couple links

real nice mod..
i have it.
but consider the fact that the car behind you will have problem seeing you tail lights during sunny day. other than that...

im going back to OEM now... not worth it. if same ******* hit me in the back..i will be at fault...
i dont want my mod come back and haunt me...

Addiction2bass used the film for a while (i think) and he said it didnt work worht sh*t. I say spray FTW, and also look at Addiction's photo gallery, he has REALLY nice blacked out tails.

And also take his idea of leaving the white part of your tail untinted. Thats a big safety/legal issue usually, so just tint the red.
