bout how much is it to get a body kit installed and painted at a shop?

alll depend, wat kind of body kits? materials i mean. you wannt real good paint of low grade one? I would say about $700 total

 

depends on what the kit is made of, if its fiberglass and the have to adjust the fitment..........plus paint.........................$1500+ trust me. i went to about 5 shops in my area and they all were going to charge me about 2k just to get my kit fitted and not painted.

 

damn.... ***k that... LIP KIT!

 

i put mine on myself. it took 11 hours but all the body lines are flush

there's something to be said for a slightly non-stock look compared to the silly looking kits...

 

if you do a body kit i would go with urethane, fit it up yourself, then take it to the shop to be painted. i would get the whole car repainted with the body kit so you have the same color all the way around. colors do not match up perfectly.

 

$600 is what I paid last time. We supplied the paint, and the kit fits PERFECT. If the kit is a POS, they are going to charge more obviously.

 

depends if u buy your kit on ebay and it doesn't line up and is thin or u just want it slapped on there or show quality... a true kit should cost over a 1000
