that's not going to work with fiberglass

how long have you been driving around with an unpainted body kit??

 

this makes me cry. why do people do this to their cars? be patient, save a little more money, and get it right the first time.

you will never get $1k quality for $100 price.

 

1. Its not painted because I'm painting the whole car black, if It was going to be white I would have done it already.
2. Its the first thing I did to my car and I didn't know there was a difference between kits and that they where made of different things.

 

Did you install it yourself or did you go somewhere to get it done. My stocked bumper looks exaclty like yours gap wise, it didn't really bother me at all. When I get mine put on I am going to a body shop and tell them to do everything for a good fitment. I don't mind paying for any extra work needed to get it fitted properly.

 

I dont know how many types of material kits are made of I do know some are fiberglass and others are poly urethan (spelling) The different between them I don't know.

Your rear fender looks like it could be cut / shaved off just a bit to give it a better fit. I don't know what to say about your rear or front though, I'm sure they can be fitted better at a professional shop. Call around and ask if they can do custom fitted jobs. I'm sure if their work is quality it's worth paying for.

 

I had a shop do it for me, its the only shop that would do it too. All the other shops knew that they can be a pain in the *** so they refused to do it.

 

How much did they charge you? Did you let them know that you want that **** looking awsome. You gotta go in there with a strong sense of what you want and tell them that you mean SERIOUS BUSINESS.

 

the only one that i can really see is the one by the headlight, the other two i dont even see whats wrong

 

i had to do this on my body kit. get rid of those plastic clips near the trunk and replace them with bolts and nuts. and slide a few 1/8 inch washers under the part where it sits on the trunk and it should fill that in. for the rear side i had to cut a slit into my kit because there was some thing blocking it as for the front i dont know what to tell you. if that gaps is all the way around the front bumper then you should slip washers under it then bolt it on i had to do all of that to my kit and now all the body lines are flush. granted it took me 11 hours to put it on it was well worth the time. and i made these brackets to make the front bumper sturdy.
