Default Body kits?

I have an 01 civic lx. clover green. I got it about two months and have already put in a cold air intake, new tail lights, HID bulbs, and am soon to be putting a spoiler on it just waiting to get a template that the factory forgot to put in.

So Basically the next step is going to be rims and a body kit, but what type of body kit?
I researched duraflex but they got really bad reviews.
The max i would want to spend is 400. I mainly just want to get a rear bumper and front and can add the side skirts later on.

what body kit place/maker is the best?
I'm looking for quality, look, and good fitting. something that won't crack if you just look at it.

Please help me out guys!

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend getting a body kit. Especially not one for under $400. To be honest, most of the body kits on the market look pretty tacky. If you absolutely need to get a body kit, get a polyurethane kit. Fiberglass is all right, but if it hits the ground too many times or a furry woodland creature, it cracks and breaks (when it doesn't grenade). Polyurethane is close to what the stock bumpers are made of, so you have an idea of how resilient they are. Unfortunately, polyurethane kits get expensive. Think in the range of $700 and up. Doing things right isn't cheap, unfortunately. That's most of the reason there's so many poorly modded cars running around.

Personally, I'd get 16" wheels and get a set of coilover springs (not cheap ebay ones either) and some decent struts. Stock body + nice wheels + a good drop = sexy

But welcome to the forums

Yah i'm starting to second guess the body kit now and just go with tires and rims.

I just want to make my car pop, but not look like a tacky piece of crap.
My main goal is to eventually turn it into a show car.

Thanks so much for not flaming me. haha

Well, lately the differences between show cars and performance-built cars are actually getting pretty slim. Sure, there's still the ones with crazy graphics, body kits, and ridiculously large wheels, but a lot of cars at bigger car shows are showing up with the stock bumpers, clean paint, smaller wheels, and built engines.

Also, I'd highly recommend 16's for wheels. They're a nice compromise between looks and ride quality, and they're about the largest wheel that still looks clean on civics (with a few exceptions).

If you're going to have the car painted and want it flashy but clean at the same time, check out this thread for some ideas.

With that kind of budget you could look into some pretty nice upper-scale lip kits, which would look great.
