What's the general consensus on bras for our Civics around here, love em or hate em? I found a factory bra on Ebay for my 6th gen. Anyone have a picture of a bra on a 6th gen? Thanks

I think they look stupid. Not to mention they will most likely destroy your paint

NO NO and NO...dont get one, sand, dirt and mosture get suck behind them and rub up agenst your hood, leaving you with LOTS of scraches and RUST...you car will look better without a big black thing on the front, and wont sustain as much damage with a few rock chips rather then rust and sand scratching agesnt it...i no this from seeing peoples experience with them

In my opinion - if you take care of it, bra's are cool on certain colored cars. I'm personally kind of biased on my daily driver. When I first got it (way back when I was 15) it sustained a major front end hit (but didn't hurt driving abilites), I bought a LeBra to cover up the damage, so I didn't care too much about the paint. After about a year, I fixed the damage and re-painted the front end, yet I still have the bra on there. Every other day I take the bra off, wash the whole car, check to see if I need to apply wax 'this time around', and shammy dry, then reapply the bra. Hasn't scratched my paint yet.

it will be a huge hassel for what it would be worth. It will mess up the front (scratches etc.,) if you don't take care of it... and I am sure that'd be a pain in the ***!!

i hate them.

There was a thread about this already, try a search (I think Ray might have asked the question).
If you like to do as Firespirit does (seems like a lot of hassle), go ahead and get one. They accumulate sand and dirt behind them which scratches your paint, especially when the wind starts flapping the bra all around (just like taking sandpaper to your paint).
