Bumper Mouldings
Hey there, hoping you guys can help me out here.
As you can see from my avatar, my car has the black mouldings on the rear and front bumpers, I'm just wondering what the best way to get rid of these is. New bumpers + paint is a bit pricy, I'm wondering i there is anyway to modify my current bumpers so they are smooth and clean.
Cheers

there probably held in by clips, take off the bumper and look in the back of it..if you take off the moldings you will probably have the holes in your bumper from were the clips of the moldings go into
You could remove the moldings and fill the holes with Bondo to smooth everything out, but over time they're probably gonna crack and look like poo. I'd recommend hitting your local junk yard up for the front and rear if you want to stay stock, or just get a kit if you don't. You could also look around to see if anyone wants to trade--I haven't seen many of those bumpers around so I'm sure someone somewhere is dying to have them!
