Default Buying from ebay??

I alway look on ebay for various things for my ride. Problem is i am always skeptical about the **** sold on there. As I am sure anyone else who has bought **** from ebay may feel the same way. You pruchase it and then you wait and wait AND WORRY that when the item finally arrives, that it will be decent and not a piece of ****. I mean, honestly, how much can you learn from a seller's feedback. Anyway, right now I am looking at underbody neon sets.

I mean, in your opinion, is this a waste of money. At night time, will you actually be able to see the glow? What do you guys think?

from what ive been reading, StreetGlow seems to be THE brand to go with when buying neons. Is that right? Is there a better brand?

If you are going with neons and want ALOT of light than get the street glow gold series kit. it uses a stand alone power inverter and then the tubes are connected in series (thru one tube to the next in a chain), this allows for a longer tube (more length and cast of light) as well as a simple process of hook ups. The down side is you will spend more money on brand named kit but for the most part you are paying for the quality.

If you are worried about puchasing off ebay than check out www.oznium.com, thier prices are a bit higher but Phil has the best customer service I've ever heard about (damn near every comment is how great the customer service is).....

when it comes to lighting....
dont go with cheap no name brands!

http://www.oznium.com/

check out that site... thats where i buy all my lights from!

and if you want something that will be REALY BRIGHT! COMPLETLY SEALED! COMPLETLY FLEXABLE! AND REALY LONG 6FT LENGTHS AS WEL AS SMALLER LENGTHS AVAILABLE.... and not to mention preaty much IMPOSIBLE TO BREAK!!!!!!!!!

more money YES about 64bucks for each 6ft strip. and those pictures are only the front and rear flex strip.. the middle lights are cold cathodes... dirt cheap BUT one drop of water into the transformer will fry them which throws off the glow from burnen out transformers! also they can break but thier worst thing is moisture geting into the transformers! ive never broken a tube but ive burned out quite a few transformers from minor water damage making the transformers trash!

heres a picture of my full cold cathode custom kit i did

tho half of the transformers have burned out by now... HUGE hassle!

and either way you do lighting setup HIDE THE BULBS COMPLETLY! only thing you want visable is the light output on the ground!

thats how i hide my lights...
but these flex leds are definatly the newest and best lighting option in my opinion!!!!!!!!!
no more worries about breaking bulbs, burning out transformers, dont worry about hiding the lights... cause they are flexable!
check out this video i made of my smaller blue led flex strip
http://s40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...nt=leds005.flv

you will not be able to do anything like that with a neon tube... if a rock just hapens to get poped up from your tires on a neon tube... guess what happens... well ill show ya

completly UGLY visable bulbs and broken very easily!!!!

think about that when buying!
also these led flexstrips dont use much power at all!
ive seen people drag thiers on the ground and they just ziptied it back up and it still worked perfect.. and also one guy had his fall onto his header which melted the rubber preaty good BUT yet the strip still works perfect.LOL

very sweet and long lasting!

i wouldnt agree with will hold up forever.... LOL

your lights are only as good as they are instaled and protected...
alls it takes is one rock to pop up and hit the tube hard enough to shater the bulb.... and replacement brand name bulbs ARE NOT CHEAP.LOL
but if they are mounted around some channeling it can protect them alittle from larger items... but rocks can still bust em.
