I am going to buy the Projector Headlights for my 05 EX. I am not sure which style I want to go with though so I am hoping you guys can help me choose. My car is silver, but I plan on putting a CF hood and trunk on it down the road, so do you think the chrome or black projectors will look better?

i would go with the black

 

Iagree, black headlights would look good on a silver car. The car has enough silver on it already, and I think the chrome ones would be too much silver. Plus, later on down the road, the black headlights would look great with the carbon fiber.

and just so you know, projectors are pretty d*** bright, so be prepared to get flashed with high-beams pretty often... I get flashed probably once a week by drivers that think I still have my highs on [:@]

 

Thanks guys. I had the same thoughts about the CF hood and the black headlights. I am also going to do th CF trunk as well down the road when I get the fundage. Looks like black it is.

 

if you're gonna get the halo projectors make sure you get the dual halos. I made the mistake of getting the singles, which are around the low beams, and so you can only see the illumunated halo when the brights are on, which in turn still makes them really hard to see when you're looking head-on. In contrast the duals are around the high and low beams which looks much nicer.

 

Go With the Black its gonna look awesome in your silver Ex and from what i see Black headlights are kinda popular this year.

 

hey had a ? for you guys i have a 96 civic i put a 6000k hid kit in and i need to put projectors on because the beams are messed up and i tried ajusting them and my only option that i know of is projectors but do i want halos with hids. what kind do i get?

 

i have the black projectors and love them they look sweet and get a lot of compliments on them... def go with the black ones lol
