Default can someone help me

hey everyone, i'm new here in the forum, and i have a question that not even my brother previous owner of the car ( 96 civic hb ) could answer me, because he said it already came with the car, and since everything if 10,000 miles from here in europe i cannot go back and get it.

so seeing that ppl over here know a lot about civic's and the rest, i wonder if you can tell me what is and where can i find one, ( highlighted on the pic below ) i kinda know its a boot retainer, but just WHERE CAN I FIND ONE? haha

thanks guys!

Google "96 civic shift boot" and see if you can come up with something you like.

He's talking about the ring around the shift boot, not the shift boot itself.

Addition to my previous post:

Here is a good example of a site that seems to have some pretty good products, and a wide variety of choices for your personal tastes. From the look of the pictures they can do all kinds of goodies for the interior.
