i am debating whether or not to put on a carbon fiber hood and trunk on my civic SI. it is a 07', and i like the look of the hood, but i am not sure about the trunk. if you could write me back and let me know what you all think about the trunk, and if you've seen one in person and say it looks good. i havent seen one in person, and the pics i've seen werent that good of pics, and thats why i am not sure.

i can get the hood and the trunk brand new made by Seibon for $700 together. i kno it's a good deal, considering the hood alone is about 500+ but i want to know if i should just stick with the hood, or if i should take the plunge and go for both parts. Thanks in advance

 

I all for the CF hood, but i dont like CF trunks at all..... just my two cents.

 

I say go for it man. Jhsplayer has both on his si i think, but his isnt a 8th gen.

 

personally i don't think CF works well with a gray civ... also, photoshop the CF hood onto the car, and print it out and post it somewhere you'll look at everyday. give it 2 weeks, and if you still like it, buy it.

 

i was thinking about getting some type of graphite grey/carbon fiber colored wheels and tires if i did get the hood.

otherwise i was going to get the gun metal wheels with tires.... good idea about printing it out. i will find a SI with a hood on it and do that... i do like the hood but i was really questioning the trunk. there are no REAL good pics online of the trunk, only the hood on silver cars.
