Default Carbon fiber door modding

I am considering buying a 1990 hatchback for purposes of drag racing. My only problem with the 1990 model is that not too many carbon fiber parts are made for it. While I have found a few hoods online, all the carbon fiber doors seem to be for 1992+. Would it be possible to mod a 92 door to fit the 90 without too much work? Weight reduction is important to me, so this will decide weather or not I purchase the car. Thanks for your help

Jon

Just take off the doors. Lol

I would just buy a 92-00 if it's THAT important to you... though I'm fairly sure the 90 hatches are lighter than the 92+'s anyway... but don't quote me on that... lol.
