Default Carbon fiber painting?

I looked and couldnt find anything (I may have over looked something) but I want to get a few carbon fiber things but HATE the look of carbon fiber. It is posible to sand and paint those things or any other method? I want the carbon fiber mainly because of its rigidy and of coure its weight and good tolerance to dissapating heat. But my problem is my friends will sit on my f**king hood and dent the very soft and unsupported (thanks alot honda) aluminum. Bacically I have to replce my hood. I dont want it happeing again especially because im in the market for an "Si blue" paint job.

Yea, I know. I scream at them when they do that. Also when they sit on the trunk (which I dont mind) but I hat it when the rest their feet on the bumber or if the have their keys on a caribiner (sp?). Thats why my trunk is all scratched up too [:@][:@].

Besides that, I would also be interested in some c/f fender that are stock shaped if the exist.

I forgot to mention... I can get a c/f hood without racing pins right? What is the friggin point of them anyway? I personally thin they look rediculous.

You can def paint C/F. And I don't think hoods come with those damn hood pins (or the holes). As with most things those hood pins started as a racing thing. You can lose all of the locking mechanisms (weight) and you can get to the motor quickly and easily from the outside of the car, which in the real world is not such a good thing if you want to keep anything under your hood, or your car for that matter.

C/F hood and fenders painted to match the car would be dope. Sleeper style. "The weapon is lightness."

Yep...

The c/f painting thing is really good news. I hate on carb fiber looks. It just looks like its rice, a non painted part, or just doesnt match.
I assume you gotta sand em down, right? Can that be done too?

Yes, any carbon fiber part can be sanded and painted. Nothing different than metal.
