does anyone have a pic of a CF Hood on a black car? i really want to get one, but i want to know how this looks.

i knew about the hood pins; however, is there a chance that they come loose? anything else that has to be done?

 

a good set of hood pins should more that do the job. It would be some hard pressed wind to get rid of the pins on the sets ive seen

i dont like cf. specially on a black car.

 

personally there isnt that much of a color difference between black and carbon fiber to make it look good. If youre going for weight reduction do it, but otherwise i thnk its dumb cuz you have to actually look twice to see that its CF. (theres a black Civic with a CF hood around here that i see all the time)

 

dude, CF on black looks tight, it's not a ricey difference, but you can tell it's there. My friend has an M3 that has CF trunk and hood, and the thing is tight. Just make sure you get good quality stuff, Vis or Seibon.

 

CF on black is the best look for CF because its all the same color. CF on everything else has a bit of debate between people because of the two tone look. I say do it.
