Here's my personal opinion. If you want a real cf hood, get it from compositesfab.com. They vacuum infuse their carbon fiber, giving it the required shape as opposed to ViS and Seibon who sell carbon fiber that is laid over a fiberglass skeleton. This costs more, but not that much more, and its worth it in my opinion. As for the carbon on black, mine looks great and I get rave reviews from everyone I know.

 

i say just get a cf hood with vents or a scop on it then people will notice the scoop loo kagain and notice the carbon fibre!?!
or just get neon so people will notice either way

ya id like to have a CF hood with some minor vents or scoops on my black civic.....
i think they look preaty sweet.... just another one of these things people got to look twice at to apriciate!

 

+1 for the vents on the CF hood, stock CF hood is kind of boring on a black car, vents would make it stand out more

i like it ej6your car is sick, just about the only thing i would change would be removing the black door bumpers (not sure what they're called) and painting your lip kit and side skirst to match your car (unless of course your lip kit is CF, i cant tell if it is, but it doenst look like it)

EDIT: ej6 i just happened to look at your thread about new rims. I see you painted the skirst and the side bumpers, and it looks like you lowered it quite a bit. I think you need to update your gallery, that looks soooo good now

 

i like it too but i wish those vents in the middle had black mesh instead of silver or aluminum whatever it is. u might could take that off and paint it one day. i dunno, just a suggestion.
