Yeah, the carbon fiber kind of looks awkward on a street mirror. The only mirrors that look good in carbon fiber are the GT3-style mirrors, and I wouldn't put them on a street car for the fact that you have about as much visibility through them as you do a sportbike's mirrors. And that's not much.

Also, from what I've read, there are usually visibility and adjustment problems with spoon and spoon-style mirrors. There's a fix for the adjustment problem (you have to take the mirror apart), but you're still dealing with a smaller-than-stock mirror, so you're going to give up some visibility.

i have the tiny mirros on my car (painted) and visibility is greatly diminished. also, drivers side mirror bracket is broken causing the lens to droop so its pretty fragile. maybe you'll have better luck tho.

also if you decide not to get these but get a different aftermarket mirror DO NOT get the M3 style ones they are ugly and you cant see very well and if you try to adjust them to where its easier to see they can break (pretty easily)

I haven't had a problem with mine, I actually didn't give up anything. I just noticed that the mirror in them make everything look a little smaller but that's the only complaints I'd say. I don't think I'd get the CF ones cause they're too flashy, I just have regular black ones I picked up for like 35 bucks on ebay. Your choice though.

I think they look half-decent (<--- that's code for "they were the cheapest things I could find after some douche kicked my mirrors off while trying to break into my car to steal that whole bunch of absolutely nothing I had in there.")
