Default Choosing Spoiler

Do anyone of you know if a 96 Si spoiler will fit a 94 coupe???? If so do you think i should go for the Si spoiler or the oem spoiler or the mid wing spoiler???? I dont really want anything too ricey.

96-00 Si Coupe Spoiler

OEM Spoiler

Mid Wing Spoiler

The only problem is i already have a 3rd brake light located inside behind the rear window so I dont know if i really need another 4th brake light.

ive been debating spoilers for a 95 coupe for quite some time. i think the 99 si one would work, or could easily be made to work, but ive decided that the spoiler is too square for the rounded bodystyle. i have a mid-wing right now, and i like the flow of the spoiler with the lines from the front, but mines broken, so when i paint my car, its getting removed. as for the OEM one, it looks ok, but i feel that it is just there to be a spoiler, its not aggressive enough to look aggressive, and not smooth enough to be clean. as for the brake light, unhook one of them, i'd unhook the one in the window. good luck though, and thanks for not considering one of those PEP BOYS aluminium ones. a nicely made Mugen CF stand-up spoiler can look god, but those cheap *** ones look like crap. and personally, if i decide to go beyond the sleeper look, im getting a whale-tail, but not that one with the fang looking things on the front of it.

A whale tale???? Speaking of whale tale i saw a ugly mustang with a whale tale spoiler that actually does look like a real whale tale. It also have these REALLY huge fender thing that goes around the wheel well. Looks really horriable.

Anyways how hard is it installing the spoiler??? Do you have a picture of your car with the mid wing spoiler because I wanna see how it look overall. Si and mid wing spoiler kinda look the same too dont ya think??

yeah, they look alot alike, but the mid has a bit of a rake to the rear. i think it goes with the sleek lines of the car more than the squarish si one. and yeah, it has to be the right whale-tail. a lot of them are ugly. im talking a small, low-profile one.

some of them are just a standard design, its not made to fit any specific car. so you have to make it fit yours. it doesnt always turn out right. get one designed for your civic. i think most of them are direct fit, so it shouldnt be a problem.
