Hi there

I am wondering if I were to buy a Honda Civic Type R spoiler, would that fit directly onto my Type S? It would be great if it required no modification to the car but if there is modifications needed, I will ONLY consider modding the actual spoiler itself, so can anyone help?

where are you located? UK? im pretty sure theres no civic type-s in america.

but yes it should fit. if not...it probably will with some slight modification.

The type s (or Sport as its known as) is just an imitation of the Type R without the Type R alloys and spoiler. The spoiler on the Type S is a smaller version of that of the Type R.

My reason for asking this question is that I wish to purchase it 2nd hand as it cost about £350 from the main dealer! and thats without re-spray! lol

oh well i dont blame you for buying it second hand. thats like what...$750 american? yeah waste ofmoney if you ask me. it should fit and if it doesnt you can modify it to and it will still probably come up cheaper.

 

Might try to call the Honda Dealer and ask if they sell 2nd hand parts...its worth a try, lol
