Default Clear Bra

Just picked up an 04 EX with 40,000 miles. Its in perfect shape- looks like it just came off the showroom floor inside and out. The only thing wrong with it is that there are several very minorrock chipson the front bumper/hood. Is there an easy way to fill/fix these and put a clear bra over them, or is it even worth the effort? I just want to keep it looking as nice as possible . . .

I had bra before and it scratched the paint so either way the paint job was mesed up. It’s called wear and tear and if you don’t want wear and tear then park it in the garage forever.

Why wouldyou want clear bra? Thepaint chip will show through it.

When you put a bra on your car, dirt or small rocks tend to get lodged underneath it and the wind could cause your bra to flap or vibrate, which in turn would cause those lodged rocks to rub and scrape up the paint anyway. That happened to one of my BF's old camaros he had back in the day.

I say go bra-less. It looks better IMO. Either way your paint will get scratched up.

Clear bra is new technology- in the last 5 years. Look it up. Its a paint protection kit that covers the whole are that a regular bra would, but you can't see it!! Thats where the clear part comes in . . .
Those of you who don't know what it is, look here-http://www.invisiblemask.com/site.html
Those of you who know about it- those are the actual comments I'm after . . .

You guys didn't even know what he was talking about before you posted. But I would get one, I see them on new cars a lot, you cant even notice. For the rock chips already there, you could always just get some touch up paint. I would go to the place that puts on the clear shield and ask about the rock chips that are there already. I would get it done professionally, I had seen DIY jobs and they look like crap.

Looks like a pain to me.... Like putting tint on. Screw up once and you have to buy a whole new one. Besides, I'm pretty sure it'll discolor due to the glue getting hot over time and the plastic will discolor. Could also maybe get screwed up when you go get a car wash. I'd say nay, just get some touch up paint and touch the chips up or leave them.
