Default clusters

will a manual cluster that has the speedmeter,rpm,gas,and temp plug up in a automatic car that has just the speedmeter,temp, and gas gauges or do u have to modify it ,its a 1997 honda civic

it'll work. all 96-98 (maybe 99-00 too) clusters are interchangeable and will work. you'll just have useless automatic gear indicators.

it's the other way around. Unless I mis-read, he's putting a manual cluster into an auto, so he wouldn't have the gear indicators at all.

And it'll plug straight in. You'll just have an extra connector hanging off the harness for the gear indicator that'll have nothing to plug into.

yes it'll work, and just to confirm, its all 96-00 that are interchanable, not just 96-98 and 99/00
