That's horrible advice. eBay is a great place to find good stuff for lower prices than you would find anywhere else. Maybe you have had problems with products on eBay because you don't know how to shop for good stuff. There are certain things that you don't buy on eBay because they are garbage, but if you know what is good and what isn't, then you'll be fine.

dito... ive used superbrightleds.com for my simple stock replacement bulbs... just be sure what bulb you have before ordering!

oznium rules for a more custom install. i want to use ozniums thin led dome lights BUT i want a FULL GLOW and they are not cutable so id have to order 2 of the smaller units to fit my 96dx dome light
i did just buy 2 of there white led flood light units im gonna see how those work out.... im gonna use one in the trunk and one under the hood since there are no lights there stock

i think the cool white is what i have
here's a pic (notice in the window reflection that a couple LEDs are burnt out. That's my fault, i pushed on them too hard while messing with it. Don't worry about that happening)

here's my contribution. it is cool white, but now idea why it's so blue. either the camera or my blue under dash lights over powering the dome light

im gonna try to put one of ozniums flood lights in the dome light.... i just got 2 of them in the mail and i must say WOW these things are really freaken bright and theres not really any hot spots on the light. it spreads out the light to the extreme!
http://www.oznium.com/high-intensity-led-floodlight

i hope one will fit. i gotta do some testing... its definatly gonna be a tight fit if it does fit! or maybe ill just cut a whole in the headliner and put it into the headliner..... brain storming....

^if you leave out the dummy bulb and just solder straight to the dome light's tabs, you can bend the tabs up into the dome light, and probably fit the flood light in there

post some pics when you get it done, seems like it will work better than these dome light leds
