Default Couple of pics of my 98(56k beware)

Here is a couple pics of my car, it's a 98 civic lx with a JDM D15B swap and I was boosting till about a month ago(went back to n/a to upgrade on my setup and ready my car for more power)

This is my Y7 head before I pulled it, rather clean I might add for a 100k+ mile head

Here is the ol girl during the transplant(doing this on a gravel driveway sucks ***)

My next project is gonna be the JDM D15. What did you need to complete the swap? Pm me a checklist.

I didn't need the whole swap

I got my D15B off ebay for like $430 shipped with a new timingbelt, water pump, and belt tensioner. The motor was/is flawless as the leakdown test came out perfect and my compression was 180 on all 4 cyl. I used my Y7 tranny then boosted. Hell I didn't even put a new throw out berring in the tranny and it is holding up great.

The D15B is alot different than any other d series engine I have had my hands on though as far as it's power band. It sucks under 2400 or so rpm but after that it pulls strong all the way up to 8200 rpm's. If you need any help at all with info on it let me know.

Thanks guys the Mugen replica grill is gone now in favor of the type r grill in the last pic, The rims are also gone and I am sitting on steel wheels at the moment. I am working at getting away from the white on white look as I plan on a set of 16 inch black rota slipstreams with a polished lip, JDM CTR headlights and a oem cf hood. I have not done anything to the car as far as looks go for a long time but after I replace a couple things in my turbo setup and work on bigger/better brakes, stiffer motor mounts, and a Y8 tranny with a obx lsd/stg 2 clutch and 11lb. flywheel I will focus on the looks a lil more.

Go before show [sm=burnout.gif]
