The black vinyl parts around my windows on the outside of my EG sedan have started to crack and crumble away, exposing the metal underneath, I've seen a couple of EGs with chrome surrounds on the windows, and while I'm not the biggest fan of chrome it'd look a heap better than the cracked crap that's there now.

Anyway, were these chrome trims a factory option? Or is it a case of removing the plastic vinyl coating? Or is there somewhere you can pick them up?

Hope I'm not re-hashing something, sorry if I am.
