CURIOUS what ya think about this paint idea?
well been thinking about paint for my 94 and instead of doing all stock green im thinking about alittle custom paint.....
and well I LOVE how my 99black civic looks sweet how the tinted windows just BLEND IN SMOOTH......
im curious to how my 94 would look like with a black TOP.... kinda make it so its a complete black bubble ontop of the car... just curve the paint from window to window.... front will be easy to paint around smooth.... BUT the rear might be the harder part to paint and have it look smooth....
i dont want to do a fake CF trunk and hood paint scheme.LOL
just a idea ive thought of..... i dont want to change the whole color of the car cause i want to put the stock green back on so the door jams and under hood look all good again.........
and well the WINDOW TINT WILL DEFINATLY BE REDONE.LOL looks purple and HORIBLE!!!!
what ya think? maybe a nice paint.... or SCREW IT and go full stock green?
stock green underhood.......

blah, idk, ask for a chop in the Chop Shop before i would do it.
also is the suspension all finished on your 94? What suspension are you running? It seems like its sitting kind of odd

well those pictures are with the lowering parts that WERE on the car....
i have to replace the rear toe adjusters and got some adjustable toe arms, and have front adjustable upper control arms to fix the front cause something up front is bent. im using all adjustable suspension parts so in the SPRING i can also buy the koni yellow struts and GC adjsutable coilovers... this way instead of replacing suspension parts with STOCK nonadjustable pieces... im preping for the future DROP
and the car still sits odd.... one side i believe passenger side sits up about a inch... realy odd im not sure what is bent.. i havent had time to inspect the front suspension parts yet. im just HOPING that the passenger side upper control arm will seperate from thier mounts clean or else ill have to buy a whole new balljoint assembly just for the mount
im using some WICKED adjustable pieces... just for a few reasons.... one im CHEAP, so far parts look good, im not realy racing the car... more of a beater car that i can just drive and not care to much about... tho when i get it painted it will not be called the beater car anymore.LOL it will be my FUN car....
waiting on stupid BACKORDERED bolts from dealership now to finish my rear
and waiting on upper arms before i take stock ones off.LOL
im just not sure how to pull off the 2tone scheme in the rear......
hatchbacks are SO EASY to 2tone... but a coupe is just harder
hardest part will be geting it to flow properly..... i might experiment alittle when i work the primer by just fixing the roof first and geting it in primer.LOL

Just my opinion, but I kind of like that pale blue currently on it. What I would do is just find a blue that matches that and repaint it that color. It seems like it goes really well with darker stuff like tinted lights/windows. As well as a cf hood/black rims if you decided to go that far.
Yep I have a black 2000ex and its my favorite out of my 3 civics.
As for your Paint scheme, I like the looks of either a one solid color OR black hood, roof, and trunk with the car another color but you said you didn't wanna go that route I believe. As far as that stock grean goes....I really don't care for it at all! No offense but Im just not a fan of that green. I like most of the candy colors, Translucent looking colors with some metallic. Like said above, I would take one of the pics of your 94 and just start playing around with them on photoshop and see what looks best. Be sure to show us some of the colors you decide to come up with. I know your wanting to do something to match your engine bay green but Ive always been a fan of black, red, and silver cars. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
It's really up to you though man. Your the one that needs to be happy with it, not us.

ya i know it would look sick to just paint the car adifferent color BUT i like how the green civic is very rare in my are..... ive only seen ONE civic with the green paint and that one lives down the road from me out here in the country.LOL but its paint is dull and faded and just dingy looking... but its a stock car.... been thier along time now.....
and i just HATE IT if i try to show the car and pop the hood and thiers GREEN engine bay on a different color car.... to me thats just tacky as hell..... PLUS if i was to deside to paint the engine bay... well that would be TONS OF WORK to remove everything, prep and paint it.... way more work than i want to go thru... and ALSO black just shows to much dirt....LOL ive learned that with my black 99civic its dirty the next an hour after washing just from dust...
i do like the silver tho.... but same thing with painting all the jams and engine bay..
just the hardest part of the top black paint would be smoothing in that back pillar from side window to back window... it is a preaty good size unlevel area... i guess its just something ill have to experiment with in primer....
