Default Debadged

After wondering if my H was held on by just glue or if they drilled holes on the replacement hood, I finally went ahead and removed the H, It was driving me nuts cause it was off centered by almost and inch. Fortunately it was only held on by glue, and came off cleanly. took some work getting the remaining glue off, but i got about 99% of it off. Waxed her up and looks real clean

Looks great Tim, much better.

the remaining 1% of glue will wear off in a month or so after a couple washes. My rear Civic emblem left the outline in glue, two washes and a detail later and it was gone.

Yeah i didn't have a heat gun or hairdryer, so i just used my thumbnail to get most off, then use a bit of Claybar, then some wax, and repeated that process till it was almost all gone

Yeah i am keeping the rear one, cause it is held in by the pegs in holes, and i don't want to hae two holes on the rear of my car

man i envy people who live in states and countries that don't require a front license plate. It looks waaaaay better without one. and the car definetely looks better without the badge

I live in texas so theres pretty much no hope that I will ever get to drive without it. I have heard rumors that they are changing the law, butI have yet to see any kind of hard evidence behind it. sucks...

Yeah i love not having to have a front plate, it completely ruins the look of a car.

my factory emblem was held in by those little pegs like in your hatch. I'm guessing its not a Honda hood?

Same here... both my front and rear badges were held in by adhesive and pegs... I ended up just molding over the holes.
