Default Does it deserve it yet?

So as some of you may have caught on I have been kinda trying to build an SI clone but improve upon the origional 99/00 SI. So my question to everyone is do you think it will deserve the "SI badging" I am talking about the SI emblems with the DOHC VTEC on the sides. When I say improving upon i mean for power it has the B18C1 versus the B16A. It also has upgraded suspension, si guage cluster and this weekend it will be getting a complete makeover by means of a 99 si front end witha seibon CF hood, oh and italready has the 99/00 tails.So what do you folks say? Is it ready for si badging?

noooooooo way. All it needs is a HOnda, because the engine isn't from the saame model you started with, and it's not out of an SI either, and just the "H" looks clean as hell. The SI cluster and front end would be sick, but i'd prolly go aftermarket instead of OEM with the lip, thats just a bit too subtle for me. Also you dont have OEM SI style fogs, which would throw the look off.

Actually I do hvae a set of Si fogs in the new bumper just finished installing them today. And I was actually going to put the si emblem up in the grille kinda like jhsplayers, but I was going to leave it red. And I am going for the subtle yet stealthy look so the stock lip fits it good.

I don't think you should. The H would look slick alone. In my opinion, the best way to get a bigger view of a situation is to go to an extreme for it, so in this case - If you did that, you might as well put an Acura symbol or some other manufacturer badge on your car. Again, this is an extreme, but your car is about 1 percent Si, so why badge it with that if you don't have to?

I just thought It would slick, and from the ouside It will look like an si, and it has more power on the inside so I figured why not?

DOHC VTEC = ok
Si = no

there's no such thing a s "Si fogs" just like there are no "Si taillights" -- it's just 99-00

exactly my point, the red/clear tails came on all 99-00 coupes, and the foglights were an option for all 99-00s.
