Default Door Ding

Someone opened there car door into my passenger side door and gave me a few dings. It didnt do anything to the paint, but it's starting to bother me. I've called around to local dent removal places, and its about 100 buck a dent. I've heard about the do it your self removals you buy at pep boys, but do they actually work?

no east coast. lucky me.

you could always call around to local car dealerships. they often contract with similar type services to take dings out of their cars on the lot.

you might want to see if you can get a lower price.

Get your dents taken care of, because once you get one, you just continue to add more on.
And the Padres are my favorite team.

I have heard that dry ice will take dents out. You heat up the area that the dent is on then put the dry ice on there and let it sit for a bit. Apparently the expanding/shrinking of heating the metal up and cooling it off very fast pops the dent out. I dont have any first hand experience with this but i have heard that it sometimes works.

you can buy DIY dent wizard-type kits from stores. they dont' work 100 percent perfectly, but they do work somewhat. and they're cheaper than paying a pro.
