Default door garnish thing

hey all my friend and i are trying to replace the passenger side car garnish piece that is on top of the door towards the rear of the door next to the window: http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...ly/garnish.jpg
http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...oufly/door.jpg

it looks just like it just slides/clips right in to place but whenever we get it into position one of the little clips ends up breaking and we have to superglue it back togethor and try again. any help would be sweet thanks

by the way the car is red not orange and it is a 91 crx si

Well, I don't know why it keeps breaking, but if you aren't too worried about it, clip the ones you can in, and then screw the three screws back into it. Was it super glued onto the car before??

hmm, on second thought, it doesn't look like there are holes in the door for the screws. Well, mine is screwed on, but I have a different gen. Sorry, if I didn't help at all.

yeah it was obviously super glued on cause there was a holy crap amount of dried up glue. but he wants it to just sit on there normal because he is an absolute perfectionist.

well if the clips keep breaking off thiers something not right thier.... sure hes got the right side on that side

but me personaly what I WOULD DO..... is get some of that windshield bond stuf..... GOOD STUFF IN A TUBE not the rope of rubber!
use the stuff in the tube around the middle and put that sucker inplace and TAPE it to the door to allow pleanty of time to dry so its inplace perfectly!

thats what i had to do for my old crx i had cause the clips were eithe rbusted or wouldnt hold tight....
