its a 97 hx how do i get the door handles (outside) out im goin to paint em to match the car have taken the two bolts out dont know what else to do to get em out help please

o ya its very easy to remove...

with my 99EX i had to replace the plastic door rod retainer cause my handle rod kept poping off

id sugest doing ahead and replacing that plastic retailer while the handle is out... just cause i know mines been off a few times and it wasnt tight at all!
for a 2dollar part its a huge pain when it kept poping off!
