Default ek9 sidemarker diy

alright, i've decided to install some ek9 amber sidemarkers on my oem fenders, i think i'm gonna buy them from Passwordjdm.com (the smoked maybe with the wiring harness) and do you know if their wiring harness just plugs right up to your fuse box or something and works?

so does anybody know where i can find a template or a drawing that shows the actual placement on the fender?I have a general idea where they go, but i'm **** about these things and i want them to be installed to spec.

Here are the links for the sidemarkers:

Thier wiring harness is simply a plug that fits into the bulb socket/holder and it's about 3-4 feet of wire past that. There is no plug n play option for this since it's not a us option as well as it would be boundled into the wiring loom. I can say for sure tho it's really easy to splice into the turn/running bulb and the only issue is keeping the wires out of sight and safe from harm. For install go HERE

I currently have the smoked markers (waiting for install) and I'd say I like the look better than the oe ones BUT if you them to be deep smoked it'd be better to get the standard oe's and a can of nite shades and smoke them down yourself.

thanks, i actually have seen that diy and that same template and saved it a long long time ago, i just couldn't find it again, thanks.

and as for between smoked and oem, i'm gonna get smoked, and when i'm sick of them, i'll buy the oem one's for about 25 bucks, no sweat.

i'm gonna wire it so it blinks with my turn signal as well asstay litwith my running lights, idk how to do that but i'm gonna try to figure out.
i don't really like the clear look on red, if my car were black like urs, i'd probably get clear or the oem ones though

Those running / blinker bulbs usualy have 2 filaments in them, I wonder if you can order/fit bulbs into the marker lights that have a dual filament bulb.

Never really thought about wiring them, but I would kinda like to have a set of OEM's myself. Post us your own diy with pics so we can see :-)
