recently I got some ep3 seats and put them in my car using the ep3 rails they came with. the rear in bolted with galvinized bolts and one of the front ones went into stock holes. the other i had to make a metal bracket.


anyways I ****en love the seats. They sit kinda high but thats ok. I just really at this point want to make use of the stock bolt locations and maybe lower the seats down further if possible would getting these and plainly replacing the rails only work?

I know that if you were to put on the ej8 rails you would need to swap the ej8 drum/bracket and the rails. And the ep3 drum is tack welded.

Im wondering if i can plainly swap rails only

well i went back in and fixed the links to my previous pics. But still lol you guys are trying to see the pics when im asking if those rails will work for my purpose lol

 

The problem is your EP3 seats are OE and use the OE seat pan and sliders. to use the Vision units you'd have to cut the old sliders off and do a lot of custom fit work.... The only thing I can see is modifying the slider mounts as they are now to make um sit lower....

i have to say it wont work cause i also have the seats , the rails cant go any lower as how fat the seats are, the stock rails if u think aobut it is as low as it would go .. the seats on the other hand .. are really fat in the front which lefts ur feet up .. wher eur knees is close to the steering wheel ..

or maybe u can .. but in my opinion u may have to cut and weld in some rails because for ep3 seats its a bitch to try and switch rails

 

I dunno the way they are also positioned they dont slide too far back so anyone much taller then me 5'10 unless they lean the seats way back lol...

I kinda knew it would be a no for those rails i posted. Just wanted to be sure.

So i guess ill keep them the way they are
