ya if your worried abotu blocking to much light simply park your car ruffly 10-20feet away from a wall at night and get some simple blue painters masking tape and apply the tape where you want the eyelids to be... and see how much light is blocked. might have to do a few layers of the blue tape, but thats what i would experiment with first because theres no clean up... just pull the tape off and theres no glue residue left on your car or lights


when i put on my 99 eyelids i didnt notice any loss in light output.
i guess it just depends how CUSTOM you want to do..... using the tape all around should give ya a good idea what ya like...

ok so i got vynil and i put it on, i cant get all the air bubbles out and the vynil is always creasing. i heard i could use a blow dryer to get rid of all the air bubbles.

if you cannt rub the air bubles out then use either a pin or razor blade to make a tiny slit and then just squize out the air and you should be good.

LOL My driver's side plastic eyelid flew off on the highway too... I was kinda pissed but I guess they were only like $10 on Ebay.

well the hair dryer might help for wrinkles but air bubbles ya need to poke a hole to get the air out of..
i use water on my vinyl when i apply them

what if i just spray painted the eyelids on the headlight? it kinda sounds stupid but w/e.

I was plannin on just painting the headlights themselves with a colour match paint. Take them out, tape them off, and prime, then paint. I'll post pics.
