ok, i have a 00 civic si. i think im gonna buy a vis cf hood. i mean it doesnt have to say for the si right? just for an 00 civic? and other than that, i know most of you dont like body kits, but i want the buddy club very badly. what should i get? not fiberglass....urethane, poly-urethane....what? and also, still fit the si as long as it says 00 civic? please help because im looking at ordering sometime this weekend if i do.

 

Yes, the VIS hood will fit any 00 Civic, even your Si. Same for the body kit. Its all the same mounting points. As for the kit material, urethane is a big plus.

 

do you think that a urethane front bumper and fiberglass side skirts and rear bumper will be ok??

 

if would be, but remember that fiberglass is brittle...so it wont take a punding like urethan can, i cant bend my front lip more then half with no problems, and fiberglass is a pain for fitting most of the time, but like i sead, it is ok..it will just be more work most of the time putting it on, also look for ABS plastic, thats the next best thing from urethan

 

ok i think im going to hold off on the body kit for now. i think im gonna buy the hood tomorrow and go from there. im going to tint the white on my stock taillights, buy black halo's and get some l.e.d. spyder lights. with all this, im hoping to get a set of black/chrome lip rims for my birthday or christmas and put it all on at once. and i guess ill get my h&r's on too.

 

post the pics of your CF hood..i was thinking about getting one, but i have seen a couple pics of one on a all silver car and i dont think it matches well

allright guys, i just spent $700. that pic u just posted of that hood, yea i bought that off ebay and it had that pic too. $565 for the hood shipped and $135 for a set of black halo's. to that question about the H logo, here are some pics of my car. i plan on getting a set of black/chrome lip rims around my birthday and i might order a black stripe within the next few days. and take that ugly pinstripe OFF. might get a cf fuel door too. here - http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jhspla.../ph//my_photos the last 2 are what it looks like now. ( new mirrors, fog light holders painted...eyelids, halos....all that )

 

where did you get those eyelids. i was thinkin on getting some for my 99 ex. I got my body kit about 2 weeks ago and i would have to say dont get fiberglass. it breaks very easily it took me 11 hours to put on my body kit. but i got it where all body lines are flush. It sucked putting it on.
