Default a few questions...

so recently (about a whole hour ago) i ordered HID headlights. plain and simple, i don't have enough money to pay for the retrofit that was talked about in that sticky. so instead i just went with one of those plug and play kits. but thats not my question..i want to tint (smoke) my headlights. it seems really obvious that if i did it it would make my lights less bright but would i still be able to see good? i dont know a lot, but i figure if i have the HID lights despite them being smoked i still should be able to see pretty well.

Also not to be annoying but i have another question and didnt want to make 2 threads. i have an 02 lx civic (https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...pictureid=5502) and want to change out the grill. is that possible at all and can it be done cheaply? thanks for any help

Do not tint ur headlights. If u want them darker, paint the housings and leave the reflector as is. This way it'll look good without sacraficing light output and most imporantly, saftey.

There are plenty of diy's for this, just search.

i see the DIY you're talking about. i think its titled change the color of your headlights. problem is though i just dont want to do it without knowing what it'll look like after because there's no pictures in that thread. and is it relatively easy to do? like i said im kind of new to this but want to get out there and do it

Yea, shouldn't be more than removing the front bumper and grill. Then re-install everything with the new grill.
