Finally got some pics of the Civic
 

I just bought my '96 EX two Saturday's ago. I finally got some night pics of it, no daytime yet. Keep in mind that i'm only 17 and i paid $1,500 out of my own pocket to get this car, along with the $177 i gotta pay a month for insurance. ****in bull****. Anyways, here's some pics. Needs some work definitely, but that will come with time. Let me get some feedback.

And jason, it was so cheap because there were 184k miles on it when i bought it. It runs fine though. Yea, its old, but its fine so far. I got a tune-up the other day, so i shouldn't have any problems. I'll be getting more pics soon, such as the engine, interior and other pics. Thanks for the comments guys

keep an eye out for that timing belt change if it hasn't already been done.

also, you should pop those wheels off and have them sandblasted. then you can respray them black again! they'll clean up really nice.

Yea, i really want to have them sandblasted and then powedercoated black, but i heard from a couple people that the rims will be a duller black, and the will look like steelies afterwards. Plus, i dont have the $200 that i was told it would cost. And the timing belt still does need to be changed, i think.. lol i didnt do it, but my dad changed the oil for me when i was at work the other day, maybe he did some other **** too, i dunno. He knows a lot about cars. But anyways, i gotta get up in like 6 hours for school, so im goin to bed. Thanks for checkin out my ride

Looking good. Start reading up and you'll know more than your dad in no time. You'll be changing his oil.

even with the miles 1500 bucks is a great deal, even if you throw a 3000 dollar swap into it, you'll still be in good shape. Looks nice though keep it clean
