Flat black
 
Hey guys i was planning on painting my Hatch flat black this weekend since its gonna be nice out. anyways i was planning in rattle canning it but i saw how sweet it looked when you use a spray gun. i was wondering if u guys know how much mixture it is for the acetone and paint..is it 50/50???...thanks

You wont like the final product. It loos great when its done, but with no clear coat and no protection on it it fades and gets very faded very quickly. Trust me, youll at least want a layer of clear on there but then it wont be flat black anymore.

Yeah I like primered cars and all and flat black looks sweet, but I would only paint my car flat black w/ the intention on getting it painted soon after. Plus, flat black dosen't really look all that flat anymore after you clear it. I say primer it black only if you can get it re-painted within a couple months.

if you want the Flat black look you can get a flat black base coat and use a clear coat with flattening agent and voila you got flat black thats gonna last

ehhh, i wouldnt paint it flat black man, i looked at a car that was flat back and it looked like $hit. The guy had only painted it 2 months before he was trying to sell it too. The dust gets in that flat black and doesnt ever come out.

sup guys spent my whole sunday doing all this...ended up using spray cans....[:@] heres some pics ....and i know the hood looks horrible i got kinda sloppy at that point of the day....imma fix that
