Floormats: Whos got the Best!
yeah, those rubber ones that are HUGE with the big grooves to catch water and dirt are the stuff. I think floormats should be more practical then anything, and those last forever. They are like 20 bucks a set, but think of all the carpet cleaning you can avoid.
Thanks for the feed back guys, I ran into some luck and JC Whitney can help me out. Yeh I'm really into the rubber mats not a big fan of getting Type-R s.h.i.t since that’s what most people do. It’s strange I come onto this forum and a lot of people conform to doing the same stuff and buying the same brands. I feel bad for most Americans who spend 80US upwards on floor mats when most of them are made in China and Taiwan. I guess in the end if you don’t mind blowing a load of cash on floor mats then go for it, otherwise save your money for something else nice for your car. After all they are floor mats and I rather put my feet down and not worry if they get dirty.
I have seen that in a magazine, it looked tight. I think the guy actualy got some factory mats and put a nice section of diamond plate on them somehow, like on the bottom and a strip along the top where it sits under your pedals, they were pretty nice.
Could be a weekend project!

well you can buy the prefit floormats that are made for the civic i think they have them on nopi...i wanted the whole damn floor like that, alot easier to clean and i think would look good.If i did end up doing that i would have it powdercoated black instead of chrome.
hi guys. i just got my civic, first thing i want to replace are the OEM mats. they look delicate and I want to save them for some other season (it's winter now here in NJ). Any place where I can buy all weather deep grooved rubber mats that would fit the 05 Civic Sedan best? Thanks.
