fog light *painting*

Default fog light *painting*

i bought fog lights off ebay but they are gray and my car is black

any1 know any good way to paint them? i was thinking just spray paint it black lol

You mean you want to paint the housing of the fog lights? Yeah, I would just prep the surface and spray paint the parts.

good luck... black's a hard color to spray-paint.. I did my valve cover twice now, and you can still see some spots where it's not perfect... take some pics after you're done... I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we wanna see some pics

spray painting black isn't too hard, u should be able to do it yourself

Make sure you put a few coats of clearcoat or else the paint will chip off with every rock that hits it.


You should check out the spray cans of black that are meant for car touchups instead of just your everyday spraypaint....

i have done it before on a whole bumper, and let me tell you the prep really matters, make sure its really smooth and make sure you put enough clear coat layers

I have the same problem i want the covers to bed black the grey is such an ugly color.....if you did spray paint them cood you post a pic id really appercaite it. I really dont wanna spend 100 bucks on the JDM carbon fiber ones.

i got mine painted at a local body shop. i think they charged me like $30 or something like that....maybe $40

do a gray primer first. thats what i did. i think i did 2-3 coats of black then the same with the clear coat.

I really like them matched to the body color onan EK...but I think the grey color looks fine against black on mine.
