I don't know if they are or not. There's no way for us to know that. Not every headlight is the same...

Just purchased these tonight. Will I need a heavy duty wire harness or will it work I don't understand what it does or if I need it?

The heavy duty wire harness has thicker wire than OEM in order to better withstand the higher draw of the new bulbs. However, while it is true that thicker wire is needed to handle more power draw, I am not convinced that this increase in power draw requires thicker wires. I, along with a few people I know of, have been using these bulbs just fine with the OEM wiring. I think that the suggestion made by the retailer for you to use the aftermarket wiring harness lies in the fact that they just want to sell you more stuff.

Ok awesome thank you. Pretty excited speaking that my OEM bulbs were so crappy and had no lighting to them at all. Just need to get silicone and re seal the fogs and put the bulbs in. Woo!

Ok well I bought those 5,000K Fog light bulbs TrustDestruction showed me and used the stock wire harness and it worked that night and the following night, but both went out now and have no reason why? Just need to get new bulbs and a heavy duty wire harness?

There's a good chance that the wires could have shorted out. Check the fuse.
