Default Fogs in a EG, what color to paint them?

Ok, i got some fogs from Dan and am going to install them sometime soon, before i do this i want to paint them as that standard gray housing color doesn't suit me well.

First off i was thinking of taking them apart and painting all of the metal flat black.

So the question is, for the plastic housing part, do i paint it flat black or do i get some color match paint and go with Red.

Also on a small side note, the fogs were kinda rusty and i cant really get them apart just yet, im going to hit them with liguid wrench after i clean them off as best i can with some metal brushes this weekend.

Anyone have any tips for taking these things apart?

Wish i could with taken them apart but i never played with those years fog's, but if they are that rusty, i would use some WD40 or some Brake away.

But getting back to the other question, i think flat black would look good, i never liked that gray color those fogs came in either.

Post some pic up when you get a chance.
