I wanna do something to the front of my civic. I'm gonna get new headlights, but what do you guys think about debadging the front emblem and putting in a black grill (white car). Also how do you guys think about blue HIDs on the stock bumber. I kinda wanna do a setup like the cover car on this months Honda Tuning. I can't find a picture of it because its not on newstands yet.

 

lets see, the debadge would be good. i would get a type r grille and get the the trim painted white with the grille staying black. HIDs will be fine with your headlights. i would think about doing a lip kit for the front as well.

 

I want to get a lip kit, but I just lowered my car and I don't want to break it. If there is a thin lip and possibily a little flexable, that would be better.

 

Lip kit for sure! Dont worry about breaking it. Get a polyurethane lip and your good to go. I can bend mine in half and loop it.

 

hey a bout the lip kits mill$civic, i have a polyurethane lip, i live in holland i dont know if any of you have been here, but the country is riddled with speed bumps, and after time my lip kit has become majorly scratched and split in one or two places

time for a new one anyways

 

ive heard the abs plastic ones hold up great as well

 

Yea I have ABS and It's the same thing that Honda produces so it holds up great plus they are pretty cheap.

HID's always look good, i like projectors as well though. Type-R grills/debadging the front always looks sic, but i would hihgly recommend getting it paitned white, i think it'd look odd. And as for lowering + a lip, you wont need to worry about it, ABS/polyurethane lips can take a beating. Like Mill$ said, you literlaly bend them in half and they wont break or anything.

Alot of lips are carbon fiber, i think it would look good, especially with the black housing projectors I want to get. What do you guys think?
