Hey guys, I have a 2002 4 door civic and im a tall guy, i cant get my seat to pull back quite far enough. How could i modify my seat so it goes father either by changing the seat rails our mounting them diffrently?

 

i believe the only way to solve your problem would be to drill new holes for the sliders so that they're farther back. i highly recommend getting a new car instead of messing with the sliders...

Damn who tall are you? I have a 98 EX and I am 6'2". I dont have a problem. Are you sure that you are sitting in the correct position? Your not like leaning all the way back to cruise or anything like that are you?

 

What!????!!!!?!?! i'm 6 ft. tall, and have plenty of head room with some to spare. you must be sitting on a couple of cushions by mistake or something.

I'm 6' and i sit pretty upright... like people say always ask me why i sit so forward and upright... i dont know.. not the point... and i still have plenty of room... so you'r doing somthing wierd if you dont have enough room...

 

i sit pretty upright as well...not vertical, but fairly straight, it just gives a positive and more alert driving style

 

Hehe, Im like 5' 6" so my knees touch the steering wheel and I cant see my bonnet... if that helps you make a decision at all.

5'11", no problems at all, maybe drink more coffee and smoke cigs? that should stunt yoru growth (although it didnt work for me so nvm)
