Lucky thing I kept the box. I'm going to try to return or exchange it for the AEM CAI.
The reason why I bought it was because some 4 x 4 idiot backed up too far and slightly dented the hood.

I don't have the cash to buy another hood and I get upset just knowing there's a dent there. Any suggestions?

If the dent on the hood is that evident, just buy the hood bra only (excluding the front fascia covering the grille) until you can get the repairs done. It's going to have to be repainted anyway, so whatever damage the bra does will be eventually fixed.

 

I was just thinking that myself. You're probably right.

 

If you know who the guy is that backed into your hood, take a hammer and some night do a little number to his hood. It's called "stress relief".

Nah, I don't know who did it but I wish I did. Son of b****, when I get my hands on him....oh, I'm sorry, I was enraged and lost track, anyway.

I'm careful now not to park too close to any vehicle. I leave alot of room for them to get out.

 

I just took off the bottom half of the bra and you guys were right. Although it wasn't on long enough to damage the paint but the dust, dirt and sand was horrible. I'm glad I took it off. Thanks again.

They are installing it today. I can't wait to drive it.
