ok i have a 92 civic lx 4dr and putting urethane full body kit on with f1 fenders, i am gettign a mettalic black paint job, they guy said hell put on everything and paint my car using 2-3 clear coats and 3-4 base coats, i dont want to get ripped off so what else hould i make sure he includes in my paiint job??? ex. buffering???? oh yea and hes charging me $1250 too much??

$1250 is a good price if he does good work. Make sure he includes colorsanding to ensure a smooth finish. Places like Maaco and other cheap places, don't do a good job colorsanding and you can see the sanding marks in the paint.
