Default Good body kit/spoiler?

Hi, i'm somewhat new here, i've been lurking around for a while, trying to get myself adapted before I made an offical post. ..Anyways, >__>.

I've been looking on http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/2001_2003_civic/ for some body kits, and a good spoiler. I found http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/...r00070606.html as a body kit that really intrested me, but.. It seemed so cheap, so I figured it had to be made out of a cheap material. Because all the other kits were usually 500~800 bucks, but I really like that kit, and was hoping maybe someone could shed some light on it, for me?

Also, I found some nice spoilers under http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/...ble_wings/jkl/ and really liked the first and second one, but the second one seemed like it might be too.. "Much", if you understand? I mean, I want a spoiler that will somewhat compliment my kit, and not be a huge wing, something that will blend in sort of, and give it more style.

But, if anyone can recommend some other sites for good body kits / wings, i'd appreciate it :P.

www.procivic.com is a good, trusted website around here.

But regarding your spoiler issue (I have no idea about the bodykit, sorry), I think the second one > the first. It looks much smoother, and for some reason the first one is just not that attractive to me. But in the end, it's your decision. Good luck!

IMO the body kit is too much and just doesn't look good. As for the wings im not a fan of any of them as i think they make a car look super ricey. Stock wings are my only exception.

I recently found this; http://www.streetconcept.com/712.html A nice little kit, a little more than the previous posted one. Also the wing for it is here: http://www.streetconcept.com/2896.html

That kit and spoiler is pretty damn nice. I like it ALOT better than the previous ones >_>. Sure it cost a little more, but it might be made of better material? I really like the rear of the kit, it looks nice. Too bad it doesn't have a spot for dual . But thats okay .

Please tell me youre joking! That kit is absolutely ridiculous and 100% UGLY!! Also dual exhuast is pointless on inline 4's like our civics and basically everything you want to do here is very ricey and looks terrible.

go with a lip kit bro, a lot cheaper and looks a lot nicer, you won't stand out too much.
unless you want to stand out...??

I say both kit and spoiler are too much. Just lowered your car and put a front lip spoiler on and your set.

Mmm.. Really? I'll check around for some nice lips. But, I seen alot of front lips on Civics and they looked kinda wierd at first, because you had the front lip, and everything else was stock, so it would kind of throw it off a little, if you know what I mean? I plan to put 17" tires/rims on eventually some nice gunmetal rims with toyo tires would look nice on my 01 black civic .

But, i'll try to check into some front lips.. Thanks for the suggestions :P. Also, can anyone give me some rough estimates of how much body kits / spoilers cost to get mounted and painted? I know its best to get estimates in my area.. But, I want to make sure I have enough money before I get estimates, so I know what to expect.

i just bought a lip kit and everyone wants 500-600 bucks to paint it... so im assuming a full body kit would cost a lot more than that. I would reccomend getting an RS front lip for your 01 civic, i have the same car same color and the RS is my favorite. because i have it hahahahaha

btw i'm not too happy with the current paint job on the lip, so im going to get it redone
i reccomend aero sides or OEM sides, OEM rear or type R replica rear
don't get the RS rear beacuse its for sedans only.

i would go with what ^ said and then get a spoiler that looks like whatever the factory spoiler for that year looks like, it will look a lot nicer than the body kits, plus then you wont be looked at as a ricer but it is your car so do what you think looks best
