What do you guys think about hood pins? Are they really necessary since the hood latches like normal?

 

Well, I would think CC makes strong enough latches, so you wouldn't need hood pins. However, if you'd like a little more security, I'd check into Aerocatch pins.

 

I saw those, they are the only ones I would care to have. But $120 for hood pins is crazy. The guys at the store I got it from said they weren't needed, but I sure don't want an expensive hood flying off and possibly cracking my windshield.
