and also a oem SI grill
two seperate sellers off ebay... trunk guy was good transaction but the SI grill guy is a cheap @ss.... SLOW @SS shiper.... and then he ships it parcel post... charged twice the price as shiping also.... in short what i *****




and well trunk was alright deal just scratched alittle worse than i thought....
so tomorow ill go by the paint place and see if they can mix up the paint in the spray can... cannt remember the places name off hand but i know where its at.LOL
hopefully thier paint will match nicely! and i can do a good spray job
have to paint the spoiler and the grill black.





also previous owner of the civic musta thought he had bass.LOL sprayed foam in it to keep it from rattling as bad... lol
just added weight and an eye soar for me...

im also going to lightly tint the spoiler leds just lightly tho....

 

why not just take the wing off and put it on your car? be a less of a hassle then swaping the whole trunk

well i had thought about that.... BUT i dont want to drill holes in my trunk lid due to the 2 facts.... one not sure if ill realy like it or my bass would like it.lol
and also 2 if i do like the spoiler it would be alot easier to sell as is rather than sell this trunk with out the spoiler and 4holes in the lid.LOL

so if i wanted to recoupe some cash i can cause we all know that some people FINALY get smart and want to ditch thier ugly ricer monster wings.LMFAO
and what easier to do than just unbolt your trunk and swap em over

the wires can easily just be pulled outta my lid and switch the lock and release cable.....



and yes i also love the grill
forget that aftermarket crap!
i bought one of those and its just so flimsy looken and the grill material sucks.... needless to say its not gonna go on my civic after all
only downfall is i have to paint it.
unfortunatly i still paid like 81bucks for the grill but its OEM so ya know it will fit and last!

hopefully that mixed paint will be available at this place tomorow and it wont be to much for it... then i can start worken on them both and painting them so i can have em on quickly...
tho i think ive changed my mind on the tinting spoiler brake lense...
at least for now...
id try the paint place now BUT its near the airport and thiers no way in hell im gonna try to get thru that rush hour mess!!!!!
so have to wait till tomorow after i get off work.... if they dont have it ill just try to get some little spray cans from pepboys.... i doubt it would match but would at least be close... i painted my friend at works mirror with some spray cans and it looks just as good if not beter than his current paint.LOL
i can spray a mean rattle

i painted my old 84towncar from the front doors all the way back and complete trunk with just spray paint and blended it so good the guy couldnt tell rather than it not shining as good in the rear. boy was that car a boat!

If you needed a wing, i coulda sold you mine...i've been wanting to take it off for a long time now, but the only problem is i dont know
how to cover up the holes (4), and paint over the spots where it was laying.
The wing adds alot of noise to the trunk when the bass is kicking....trust me.
btw, i see you took off the paint on the bottom part of your tail lights....that looks sick!!!!!

well my bass system is just about sealed off from the trunk... so rattling is no long a problem... only rattling i have now is the liscence plate which i fixed with some HOT GLUE and some peel and seal gutter stuff to pad behind the liscence plate trim panel. and the air vent flap is flapen away... well i should say WAS cause i sold my 1200watt amp and downgraded to only 600watts while i upgrade the system to 2000 watts and a beter subwoofer. BUT same box setup cause i spent to much time and effort to build it and it will work with the newer sub when ever i get enough cash to upgrade it all... but its alot of cash cause i have to upgrade the whole system! alt, dual batteries, new amp, and new sub. needless to say alot more money than i have right now.LOL waiting on W2 to come in the mail to help upgrade my system

tho with sealed off trunk setup you loose some deeper bass notes and some trunk reflective gain BUT i believe its worth it since the trunk rattling is preaty much gone now...
