..:: Got off the phone with Honda ::..
My brother threw out all the interior for my 96 hatch. He owned the car before me, and he was going to put a big block 396 from a 68' Elcamino in it. He realized it was a waste of money since he found out it was illegal for a daily driver anyway (the engine would only fit where the back seats go), and he's not into drag racing, and can't afford it.
Basically, I'm trying to get a hold of stock interior for it. I need every single interior part.
I called the parts guy at Honda, and he told me it will cost a fortune (which yes I know it will be expensive). He told me to come in with the VIN number and sit down and go through a book and write down every part I need and price it all out. He told me at least $1000.
I rather get new interior rather than go to a junk yard and get half mollested and crappy interior. I asked if it was possible to a get a black and white color scheme, more black than white (white being the trim), and he said it might be possible. This is what I'm looking for. I plan on building this car to high standards, and I have the money. Is it worth it? What are your guy's opinions...? Should I look into it more?
Please keep the flames to a minimum. [:'(]

I think you could probably find some one who has totaled there car or somthing and swipe there interior.
if i could get used interior for at least, if not way more than, half the price i would.

Sounds like your putting way too much money into that civic for simple stuff. How about getting the big pieces from a junkyard, then just buying brand new carpet

Eh, we'll see. Thanks for the input guys.
Lots and lots of Ebay and Craigslist, with some retail..
Actually, there's a dude selling alot of interior parts on Ebay right now. Seats, dash, gauges, glove. All that. Check it out.

there are always people parting out Ek hatches. Just look around, you can pick up all the stuff you need for about half of what you are going to pay honda for a full interior.
